It’s not only peak selling season for Ray White but also for newborns with two agents welcoming new additions within days of each other, although one arrival came close to clashing with an auction.
Ray White’s Ascot real estate agent Damon Warat was cutting it fine when he made a mad dash across town from the Mater Women’s Hospital to Clayfield after being up all night, alongside his fiance Gracie Harris, for the arrival of Woody.
The little fella, their second child, weighed in at 3.38kg.
After Woody was welcomed into the world, Warat made it just in time to set up the early morning auction, possessing a beaming smile and dealing with a phone that wouldn’t stop ringing or pinging.
“I literally just left the hospital to get to the auction,” Warat said.
The sale went as well as the delivery with a perfect result all around.
It wasn’t as quite a dramatic day for Ray White Bulimba agent Scott Darwon but it was equally as exciting for he and his wife Holly who have welcomed their first child.
Walter Timothy Darwon arrived in the days after Woody on October 11, weighing 4.39kg and measuring 54.5cm.
Holly said the journey to being Walter in the world “not an easy” but well worth it.
“ The journey to bring him into this world was not an easy one but this moment makes it all worth it. We love you our beautiful Wally,” Holly posted on Instagram.
