Records show the property last sold in 2013 for $3.4m.

The four-bedroom house on the 2500 sqm Windsor Hill site offers panoramic city views.

The land was originally owned by Brisbane’s first Lord Mayor William Jolly, with the Georgian-style home built in 1930 by the next owner, a local hotelier and his family.

Inside, the home is filled with striking architectural elements from the period, including stately formal rooms with rich timber panelling, decorative ceilings, chandeliers, and original stained glass windows.

On the top floor, the master bedroom is particularly extravagant, featuring a private ensuite, detailed ceilings and a bay window.

The lower level comprises a home office and a rumpus room, opening on to a tiled terrace that leads to a pool and pergola.

Regarded as one of the top cattlemen in the country, Mr Setter is the CEO of Australia’s largest private beef producer, Consolidated Pastoral Company (CPC).

The house has striking, Georgian architectural features.

CPC runs some 300,000 cattle across 3.6m ha in the Northern Territory and Western Australia.

The sale was negotiated by Jason Bond and David Scott of Elever Property Group.

The previous house price record for Windsor was set in 2016 when BP Australia bought a property at 12 Grantson Street for $4.71m.

The house sits on a huge block of land, boasting stunning city views.
