Australian swimming legend Lisa Curry is set for new beginnings, with today’s listing of her Queensland mountain home and wellness retreat for sale.
The 25.93 hectare wellness and fitness retreat property, called Mali – a combination of the first two letters of the names of the 15-time gold medallist and her husband Mark Tabone – opened for expressions of interest Monday morning.

The couple bought the property for $1.125m five years ago, nine months after their engagement, converting it into a wedding venue and yoga retreat also used for bootcamps and corporate functions.
The site has a classic four bedroom Queenslander surrounded by nature, with most of the corporate activity centred on a rustic barn where weddings, events, workshops and small conferences have been held.
There’s also a gym, kitchenette, outdoor amphitheatre and a sand area for glamping tents.
Real estate agents Darren and Jenny Rix of The Property League in Buderim described the property as hinterland heaven.
“Set on rolling hills with pockets of rainforest and natural waterways it is a private paradise that offers endless possibilities to new owners. Previously utilised as a horse property with lush paddocks and a 40 x 40m sand arena, “MALI” is now an established and sought-after eco tourism venue,” the listing states.
