Nova 96.9 radio presenter Michael “Wippa” Wipfli, has sold his Brisbane investment apartment which had been yielding $650 a week over the past few years.

He pocketed $775,000, when bought it was by investors who are now seeking $700 a week tenants.

Wippa has owned the 15th floor Casino Towers apartment since he paid $620,000 in 2008, when he was on air in Perth where he got his start on the Em, Wippa and Ollie breakfast show.

The 90sqm, two bedroom, two bathroom George St apartment was listed seeking $799,000 following its April auction through Ray White agents Colin Walsh and Drew Xerez.

It has two bedrooms and 90sqm.

The median two-bedroom unit price in Brisbane City sits at $570,000, according to realestate.com.au. Wippa and wife Lisa upgraded to a $6.35 million Rose Bay mansion in 2019 from a $2.4 million Centennial Park semi.
