A flick of the wrist by NRL star Tevita Pangai Jr has secured him more than the average salary – after inking a deal to sell one of three properties he bought during his Brisbane Bronco years.
The current Canterbury Bulldog player made a $96,000 gain off the sale of his four bedroom Hidden Valley home near Yeppoon.

He’d put it on the market for sale two months asking for offers over $700,000, and recently accepted $745,000 for the home on the Capricorn Coast.
He’d bought the ex-display home in the Pines Estate for $649,000 in October 2019, the last of three residential purchases he’d made that year.
The home consisted of a large 1,239sq m block with more than enough room for a pool and shed, and has zoned, ducted airconditioning and fans throughout, plus a hardwired datalex speaker and home hub system, two massive living areas, all of which overlooks a park and BBQ area.
The rugby league player whose name has been bandied about by Dolphins coach Wayne Bennett as part of his dream line-up, spent 2016 to 2021 with the Brisbane Broncos.
He still owns two other properties bought in 2019 – picked up as blocks of land. He bought a 395sq m block in Brisbane’s Logan Reserve for $250,000 in July 2019, which had a permit for a $277,000 new build on it.
The second block was bought in September 2019 for $253,000 in Park Ridge. Last year Mr Pangai secured a permit for a $740,000 duplex to be built on that site.
