Richlister family sells Brisbane penthouse for $3.75m

This penthouse at 6060/6 Parkland Boulevard, Brisbane City, has just sold for $3.75m.

QUEENSLAND richlist developers the Pradellas have sold a “one-of-a-kind” penthouse they created for $3.75 million, after holding it in the family for 16 years.

Place New Farm’s Alex Rutherford negotiated the sale of the two-level apartment at 6060/6 Parkland Boulevard in the heart of Brisbane’s CBD.

The penthouse has a huge balcony with a fireplace overlooking the city.

She sold it to a local family “looking for size, lifestyle and views” for a price that equates to $9100/sqm.

“That’s significant for a 16-year-old property,” Ms Rutherford said.

The 16-year-old kitchen is still in immaculate condition.

The bathrooms and kitchen are still in original condition. One of the only improvements made since it was built are new carpets.

Ms Rutherford said the property attracted 11,419 internet views and 72 email enquiries.

“I think the point of difference was it was a double height ceiling space, which created a sense of space,” she said.

The views from the penthouse are impressive.

“Also the park setting, that fact it had up to 4 carparks and it’s a really good alternative to house living. You don’t have the maintenance, but still have the space.”

The property passed straight into the Pradella family when the Roma Street Parkland developments were created around 2004.

The building has a gym…

…and a pool.

It was listed under Shannon Pradella, who has five other properties to her name, including three with other family members David Henry Pradella, Mia Margaret Pradella and John Russell Pradella.

The four-bedroom, three-bathroom penthouse apartment is a massive 410 sqm and boasts high ceilings, a grand timber staircase, banks of glass, a large covered balcony with a built-in barbecue and an impressive fireplace.
