It has just settled for $2.65 million.

Records show the property has sold to Peter Warton, the CEO of the Victorian-based costume company, Rubies Deerfield.

Ray Martin has just sold this holiday home on the Sunshine Coast.

Positioned on the edge of a lake in the exclusive The Lakes estate, the two-level home has four bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bathrooms.

On the first floor is a combined living, dining and kitchen area, a family room and a cinema.

A small courtyard in the middle of the property brings the outdoors in, while a large terrace at the back overlooks the lake.

The home has four spacious bedrooms, each with their own ensuite.

There are a number of decks and terraces to take advantage of the view of Mt Coolum and surrounds.

Marketing agent Marcus Dolby of Dolby Property Group said the buyer was a keen golfer and could see the potential in buying in the area, especially with the nearby Palmer Coolum Resort and world-class golf course being revamped.

The property overlooks a picturesque lake.

He said the home had been renovated in recent years so presented well and was incredibly spacious.

Suburbs like Mount Coolum were often overlooked by potential buyers because they were not as well-known as places like Noosa, Mr Dolby said.

Martin and his wife, Dianne, sold the property as they plan to spend more time in Sydney with their family.

The property is very spacious..
