A WELLNESS guru and best-selling author has sold her waterfront Sunshine Coast home for $6.75m in one of the biggest sales ever recorded in Mooloolaba.
Cyndi O’Meara and her husband, Howard, have made a huge profit from the sale, having bought the modest three-bedroom house on 883 sqm for $3.2m in 2016.

Selling agent Alan Riley of HOME – Sunshine Coast said the sale price for the property at 38 Culbara Street reflected mostly land value.
Mr Riley said the local buyer planned to knock down the existing house and build a new one.
He said the price point meant there was an elite pool of interested buyers, but the auction of the home still attracted five registered bidders.
“It’s definitely one of the best (riverfront locations) on the Coast,” he said.
Mr Riley said demand for homes on the Sunshine Coast had cooled slightly, but prices had not declined.
“It’s not as frantic as it was mid to late last year, but if anything, prices have continued to increase,” he said.
The property has a 32m river frontage, a northeast aspect and sweeping river views.
The original, brick and tile home was well presented, with plenty of outdoor entertaining areas, including a large, riverfront deck.
A 15m pontoon is already in place and deep water access is short and direct.
Mrs O’Meara, who is also a TEDx speaker, is the author of “Changing Habits Changing Lives” — a book about healthy food production and consumption.
